I know that people get into heated battles over the fact that Chevy DOMINATES Ford and Dodge, but I went to visit the automotive program I will be atending next fall and they are the same about there tools. So I wondered what brand of tools do you have Mac, Snap On , or good ol' Craftsman. I have a few Craftsman but I'm going to be investing in a nice set Snap On tools.

You can't go wrong with Snap-On, Mac or Cornwell
because they are all great tools, But Craftsman are
lifetime warrantied also and you don't have to chase a
truck down the road to get a replacement or repair kit
for something that is broken. There is a Sears in most
every city and they are very good about replacements.
On the other hand, if you work out a garage and the other
three I mentioned make reguler visits, they are a better
choice because I believe their tools are a little better quality!!!

Craftsman hand tools are okay, but their air and power tools are junk. I will never own another. I went thru so many routers the owner of the local sears told me no more replacements:smack: . For routers, I use Milwaukee, Drills- Hitachi, Nail guns-Senco, Jigsaws and palm sanders-DeWalt. None of these tools have ever puked on me like a Craftsman.

:iagree: :iagree: :iagree: If you're talking Power tools, Don't bother with any Craftsman.
Their power tools are the pits.
Stick with Dewalt,Milwaukee, Bosch, Hitachi, Makita and Porter Cable are all great tools
