I just picked up a 2004 C5 and she needs some new tires badly. So what suggestions are you guys making on a good all around performance tire with a little more traction than what came on the car?

michelin pilot sport IIs (non run flats) are a great tire.

I had the KDW's on mine a bit ago, and they were nice, now I have the Bridgestone Potenza's and really haven't had enough road time on them actually to give you a good answer.

Tom is right above, some people don't want to spend the money for those though. I would have gotten them too, but I would have had to wait longer then I wanted to get the larger size(s) that I wanted then to get the ones I ended up with. Patience, patience, patience...

I had original Goodyears and they were terrible.
Went to Kumho and the didn't last 10,000 miles.
Now have Michelin, ZP's and they are great. Low noise and great tread life. Will never go with anything else now.

Anyone know how the KDW's compare to the Pilots?

:iagree: A+ tires! Have them on my '98 BMW 540i. There a little pricey but completly worth the dough. highly recommended.

My C5 tires havent needed to be changed yet but I sure do know which im going to put on : )
