Can anyone tell me if the automatic antenna on a 1993 corvette failing to come up will cause the radio not to play. Also what is the best way to work on the antenna besides taking it to a dealer. I know this may sound stupid but I would like to repair the radio before selling the car. The radio comes on but will not play, all this started after getting caught in rain with top at home. (Dumb Huh)

The antennea failing to come up will not affect the radio from working, will it work with a cassette or CD?

Working on the antennea requires taking part of the interior out in the rear area, and also the inner wheel well on the antennnea side, and you can get to some of it through the rear tail light if taken out.

Thanks for the help looks like I will have to find sombody to fix this problem or just sell the car.
