SmokinVette.com has one of the largest Corvette photo databases, put here by you the Corvette Enthusiast. You can either search from Thousands of stock and modified Corvettes of all generations. Everyone loves to view Corvettes and the best thing about it, is that it only takes a few minutes to upload your photos.

Lets upload a few, here is how you do it:


Step 1: From any location of the site on the top right click on "Vette Gallery", this will bring you to all the Smokin photos!

Step 2: Next you need to click on "upload photos" located on the right hand side in the black navigation bar as shown here:

Step 3: We are now at the point where you can select and upload up to 5 photos as shown here:

Step 4: You have the option to categorize the photos as shown here:

Step 5: What you want to do is click on the "Browse" button to navigate to where you have your photos stored, a pop up window will appear, click on your photo once you see it, then click "Open", this will automatically load the photo. Keep in mind you can upload 5 photos at a time. If you have more than 5 photos simply repeat this process as many times as you wish.

Step 6: You also have the option to give the photo a discription that will show when the photo is being viewed. You can enter in Key words also, this is used to help members search for photos based on key words.

Step 7: Your just about done, all you need to do is click on "Upload/Submit" and your photos will be uploaded and ready for viewing!

*Now if you want to use this photo in a thread or post, all you need to do is right click on the photo, select properties then copy the complete "URL" address, cancel or close this window. Go to your post or thread and click on the image button (the one with the mountain on it). Paste the URL address that you just copied into here. Hit submit and your good to go!

I have been attempting to add photos and it's not working. I loaded photos when I joined and have 6 photos out there that will not upload. Any ideas on why it's not working?

Suddenly I am able to upload again. I am not sure what happened or what I changed but it works.

I have uploaded three photos. All have the key words of 1980 in it. One should be in the enigne area, another in the interior, and the last was an over all shot.They are not showing up. Do I need to wait some sort of time period before they show up?

I have been trying to upload a couple of more photo's for the pimp my wheels contest. It let me upload 1 but won't upload the other 2. I have tried from 3 seperate computers on 2 different networks on 4 different days and was only able to get 1 of the 3 uploaded. I tried all 3 at the same time and only 1 uploaded. I have tried the other 2 together and seperately with no luck at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Never mind I figured it out! My new camera's mega pixel's are to high so it won't up load! I'm going to have to do pics with my old digital camera:wtf:

When I click on the Vette Gallery and then scroll down, I don't have the words "Upload Photos" in the lower right hand corner. So how do I proceed from here? Thanks for any help.
