: Single C6 turbo kit?

Has anyone seen this kit by Ohio Forced Inductions?

"We will soon be releasing the C6 single turbo kit. The options are T4 or T6 setup and ceramiccoating is standered on all kits. "

I wonder what kind of power a single turbo will produce? Are these guys trying to compete against the other twin turbo companies?

Never even heard of this company. Who knows one turbo might spool up quicker? Will give them credit it looks pretty beefy!

I think they are using a single because you can get some higher rpms out of it which might get some nice numbers on the dyno? Who knows

where are they out of? I thought I heard of a company that was building single turbo kits but it never really produced that great of power and they fizzeled out.

Ok guys, I just got off the phone with these guys. I tried to remember all the questions that you sent me on this "unicorn".

1. This is a legit turbo system that will be available.
2. Expected release is sometime in June.
3. Dyno numbers are still not available yet.
4. The T6 is recommended for built motors
5. Seeing no dyno numbers available no comparisons are available. I was told this system will be a home run for the track people looking for some boost.
6. Pricing will be around the mid seven thousand range.

Thats all I have.

Here are some pics of the single T6 C6 turbo kit. These are mockup pics that were taken for you to all see. The kit is not complete in the pics as you can see. I just have had so many people want to see what its going to look like.

The kit does not move any acc on the car and retians the a/c. The battery does get moved to the back and the fuse box in the front moves where the battery use to be. The pics are of just the hot parts with the intake pipe located where its going. AGAIN THIS IS WHAT THE KIT WILL LOOK LIKE,BUT THIS IS THE MOCK UP KIT ON THE CAR.

The kits will be going on sale June 1st. Will have some productions pics soon and HP numbers.

The Kit will include the following....

1 3/4 headers
2.5" crossover
3" downpipe with T4/ 3.5" downpipe with T6
V-bands
T4 turbo or T6 turbo upgrade available
Turbo support bracket
5 ply silicone
t-clamps
3" cold piping
ceramic coating
4" intercooler
3" custom radiator
oil lines feed and return
Heat wrap
all clamps and bolts etc.

You guys, this is the sickest looking turbo set up I have seen!! And I have seen them all! That has to spool up super fast being that close, I agree with another member that I wonder what the heat will be like. Presentation - 9.5

This will look amazing powder coated, I'm surprised to see a single turbo, then again a T-6 isn't exactly entry level.

Thanks....The T6 is beast. I thought a single would fit better to the needs of some big cubed setups. Also the market already has some twin setups and a single would be a nice add to them.

Thanks Joel

Are you still selling these? Just had one question, is it true that it takes over 5 months for you to deliver a turbo kit vice the couple that you state that I'm starting to read on other forums?

I don't think they are doing anything, I've tried calling into them for pricing and when they would be releasing this kit and no one answers? Anyone know different?

The more I think about this, this seems like a "short cut" to the real deal - twin turbo. Sorry not for me
