That says it best, my paint is faded pretty bad and needs some major help? What can be done here?

You could try some rubbing compound with a buffer
and clay bar afterwards. Then use a high quality
wax like Meguiars or Mothers. Carnuba Wax is excellent.
It takes alot of elbow grease though.
You may want to give jason a shout over at ADAMS.

Your best bet aside from new paint is something like 3M polishing compound and a buffer.

Oxidized paint is easy to bring back to life with a polisher, cutting pads and polish.

meguires has a great 3 step system that works great for faded/new paint:thumbsup:

If your car is black or red,Zymol makes high-carnuba waxes with black or red pigment. They are intended for faded paint,but I have had good results on two black cars with scratches or chips that let the white primer show through.
