Black Label Vette

I spent 3 hours detailing the Vette today.
Took it to fill the gas tank and was pissed
when I got home. A 5 minute ride and the
car got covered in Diesel spray from
following a Ford F350 Dually. :wtf: Had to spend another
hour cleaning the hood and windsheild. I was
wondering if this happens to anyone else????

I think you are making a big deal out of nothing sshaw! LOL Just kidding! I think the worst for me was when I had just detailed my vette and on my way to an auto meet it sprinkled and then cleared up all while I was on my way to the meet. Now it may not sound that bad but my vette is black and everyone knows what it looked like when I got to the meet, nice and water stained and dirty!! Nothing like what happened to you sshaw however I think we can agree that neither are acceptable after detailing your vette!!

I would be ticked off as well. Try driving in NY City after a little moisture. Your entire car's fine shine is gone and replaced with a spotty dirty delight! :mad5:

I would hate to deal with all the
pollution dust that settles on your
cars out there. A friend of mine
lived in Hunington Beach for a while
and it was almost pointless to wash
your car if you didn't have a garage
to store it in!!!

I can only imagine. Out here it is 20 miles to town, and we might see 5 other cars on the way to town. I could never live in a big city. We go to Oklahoma City sometimes to visit my sister, I can handle that. We went to Las Vegas and LA 20 years ago when we got married. That many people in one place drives me crazy. With this new job starting in couple of weeks, they already told me I have to travel to Houston. Not looking forward to that, but at least the cab driver knows where he is going. I hope.
