I am repainting my truck black, I know I will worship a block sander for a lot more housre than I want to think about but its a labor of love, how can I protect the new paint because I can't wax it for up to six I have heard. Any advice will be greatly apreciated, thank you a head of time.

One word Zaino! I had some body touch up done not too long ago and the body guy said to not wax for a few days only, that the chemical used in the newer paints were different than stuff used years ago? I might be wrong on quoting what was said but thats what I recall. Good luck with the painting. Are you doing it yourself?

My step dad paints for Hagie Manufacturing, they make big feild sprayers and snow plows for air ports. The owers are really down to earth people, typical small town Iowa, and get along with my step dad great so they said we can use their booth there.
This is the web site so you can see what they make. http://www.hagie.com/
Him and another guy paint all the booms, frames, cabs, rims stuff like that. They have another line for smaller parts that has a few guys on it too.
