hoping someone somewhere can help i changed out the rear drive shafts and now the antilock brake light comes on as soon as i go more than 10 mph. i tried a couple different scanners but no luck. so my question is is the a manual way to get a flash code and somewhere to decipher it when i get it ? i have an old set of frog keys and a snap on manual that lists some of the fault codes but not numerical. more like abreviated script? so if anyone can help. i would be grateful to say the least .

I would start by checking the
wiring and any plugs to the
sensors on the rear wheel
brake rotors. There is a sensor
on each brake rotor to sense
a brake lock up. Dirty sensors
can cause anti-lock problems also!!

thanks for the reply i have checked the sensors and ohm test as described in the manual .. but the light remains lit? i tried battery disconnect and still it comes back on . its like a stored fault code but i cant erase it? the only other event was while in the air i drove the rear wheels only . im thinking that because the front wheels didnt move it tripped a fault code.
is there an older model scanner i should use to read this system?

thanks again for your help . i did manage to "clear" the code i found the information how to do it in an old thing called a "book" , the chilton repair manual for the years 86- 90.
