I have spoke to both companies and seriously considering a purchase of one of the two. APS was telling me that the remote style STS systems have more lag time, where as the STS people where saying that the APS system heats up the engine compartment to much??? I'm getting  now!!! He said, she said is paying its toll on me and I'm on the fence! Who has used what? Any PROVEN dyno results. (nothing against the sales reps at both companies, they are paid to sell these things).

I have been researching TT systems over the last week, both above mentioned TT are great systems. It would seem that more people have been picking up the APS system? I saw a video online of this blue Vette with lambo doors that sounded really nice with the STS system on it. What I have seen so far and I will keep digging around either system will be a good investment. APS does look like the "popular" choice, which doesn't mean much.:D

I think I'm getting closer to makeing the move, wanted to make a post here to see if anyone else can add some insight on the subject. Because of the cost of these systems then installation, want to make sure I'm making the best investment.

APS system has been ordered and waiting for my new toy to arrive. From there off to a buddy's shop for the install. Man I can't wait, hoping once installed to get some nice numbers at the dyno. Just in time for the summer. How is the fuel management system with this kit? Is it a basic system or does it have room for improvement?

I've tuned over a dozen APS TT systems and quite a few STS systems.
Only thing I noticed as a downside to the STS is that it does have more lag and less boost if you haven't warmed it up a bit first.
The APS TT is extremely complete, produces nice low end boost (2-3 PSI at around 2000 RPM) and has a nice linear torque curve. On a stock engined car with methanol and a boost controller we achieved over 600 RWHP on less than 10 PSI Boost. Also over 600 RWTQ by 4000 RPM. We were up almost 100 ft lbs over stock at 2500 RPM. Now thats power you can feel!
Enjoy your APS and call us if you run into any difficulties at all with the install or tuning.

I have heard great stuff about both of these companies. The obvious is that the placement of the turbos are different, aps being front mounted and sts is in the rear. I think that the aps system also puts out a little more power too. I would like to have either one of them!

Both are great turbo companies can't say which direction I would go myself. It would be a coin toss too.

I want a turbo system so bad, but bank is saying no at this time. :( I'm hoping in a few months to have enough beans saved up.
