Whats the deal on these headers I found over at Zip? They are Kooks stepped headers. What makes the headers different from others?

If its LG or Kooks you can't go wrong. Stepped headers?? Damn you might want to contact Kooks or someone might chime in on that one. :cheers:

Theres actually a bit of a difference when it comes to a stepped header and a "regular" header.. The stepped has a better hp range through out the low to high rpm range and its better to use a stepped header if your looking to do motor mods.....And right now i know the c6 is the only one that offers the stepped design .One thing is.... When it comes down to it... Why is it available just for the C6's? If its a great design wouldn't it be manufactured for the C5 also, heck just on a money making side? Don't mistaken my comment, I'm a Kooks sort of guy.

Well to answer your question on that the "stepped header" it is an exclusive header to ZIP-PRODUCTS all the R&D that went into that header came from alot of time and work here at ZIP.And to my knowledge the C6 "stepped header" will work on C5 LS1 & LS2 motors but if you have any questions regarding the header feel free to give me a call here at zip.Oh yea its nothing against the C5 its just we made this off a C6 we have here.:patriot: And on another note.. One thing you have got to look at is if your looking to do internal motor work the "stepped" is a great header to use.If not the regular KOOKS header is the way to go..
