Greg I was told by the tuner that the methanol injection was not intended to be used to add more power, although the 100% methanol is 120 octane, but it is progressivly injected, starting out slowly and then spraying your desired amount at full boost (WOT) It is there basically for insurance on the engine, to keep the intake and exhaust temps lower then if it was not there. I'm thinking that it probably would add a little more power, but nothing to write home about I guess. I've had my Maggie for over 6 years now and I have not stop pushing her!! So far 737rwt and 595rwh is my best with 19lbs of boost and slipping belt. This is on a 402ci Ls2 and 228/232 cam.:thumbsup: | |
