No joke - that is one clean looking Vette! What seats do you have in there?

Tom who's wide body is that? Are those just flares on the existing fenders or is that the complete quaterpanel? Looks great!

I replied to you in another post this evening with the ACP site. I purchased these fender flairs from MaxAcc another vender. For some reason their site has been down for a few days?

If you can't get ahold of Maxacc on their website, let me know and I can try to locate their ph #. Otherwise I suspect you can order something from ACP or you can go full bore and buy the entire Z11 kit. Cool looking kit. I am going to build a track only car in the fall and will be using the Z11 myself.

Very nice, did you need to tub it at all or did everything fit under the flares? Michelin or BF for the rubber?

No tubbing required. I have 2.5 degrees of negative camber on the fronts, and 1.5 on the rears. Ie. it's aligned for track use, with occational street use. I have two wheel tire set ups for the car:

Street: Michelin Pilot Sports (fronts 18" rims; 11" wide, with 275s), (rears 19"; 13" wide, with 345s). Few tires choices in this wide rear. Pilot Sport PS2, won't work.

Track(rr): Michelin Pilot Sport Cups (R compound) 18" rims, 11 wide front (295), 13 wide rear, 345.

The R compound tires perform 1000% better and are mounted on much lighter racing rims. One big catch: They are good for 5,000 to 6,000 miles max. Good only for track and the one hour trip to/from. Upside: A vette is a whole different car when riding on R compound tires.

Couple of questions for you:

1. What "lighter racing rims" do you have?
2. What is the cost of those R compound tires
3. With the "R" compound tires are you getting alot of dirt/rocks getting kicked up on the car chipping the paint in the wheel wells?

sweet looking ride!

ccw corsairs. R compound tires are less than the Michelin PS2's but still not cheap. Suggest you look at tire rack for sizes your interested in. My rim's were approx $2,500 and the tires run approx $1,500 for the set. The tires do collect more gravel since they are softer, but I don't notice any damage or diff to wheel wells.

R compound tires are now std equip on two popular track cars: Porche 911 GT2 (pilot sport cups) and Lotus track cars.
