How do you "pull codes" in a C6? Once the code is pulled is there a reference book or somewhere I can get a definition of this code?it is not like the C-5 you must have a Tech 2 scanner like the dealership has

You will either need a Tech 2 or if you have a Diablosport hand held tuner, it will read the codes as well.

A lot of times, you can do a google search with the code and it will tell you what it is.

if you have an auto zone or advanced auto parts store closeby they can scan it for you

:iagree: Also scanning/tuning software like HP Tuners (http://www.hptuners.com) will work wonders. :D

Alot of places will let you use one too. Autozone, pepboys, and other places like that will have the equipment for you to use and pull your codes!
