I just put a new top and weatherstripping on my 1965 Corvette.
The drivers side door window fits well although tight against the top weatherstripping. The passenger door comes nowhere close to fitting properly to the weatherstripping. It looks like the top frame needs to come about 3/8 to 1/2 inch out to the outside of the car to allow the window to fit properly. The doors on both sides fit the vehicle perfectly. although the window vent on the pass. side looks like it could come in a liitle tighter when door is closed.
The fix ssems to be to bend the top frame into the proper position in relation to the windoe postion on the door.
Has anyone out there come across this problem and if so what was thier soultion.??

There's an adjustment stud at the bottom of the front glass run channel that will move the top of the vent window frame (and the top of the side glass) inboard, and the rear glass run channel position is also adjustable via its two screws at the rear door facing. You need to remove the door trim panel to get at the front glass channel adjusting stud.
