I picked up my new Z06 yesterday.

I noticed the clutch doesn't engage until you are at the end of the pedal travel.

Why is this?

Being hydraulic is there any way to adjust travel so it engages at the beginning of pedal travel?

In my opinion very hard to drive this way.

I think all clutch pedals are like that. The idea is that you don't have to push them in very far to disengage them to change the gears - which means faster gear shifts, and it keeps some drivers from driving with the clutch partially pushed in, enough to wear out the clutch prematurely. I assume I am interpreting your question properly - and am wondering how you think it should be different, and why?
