Is it an automatic or 6-speed? Is an automatic and the next dealer is 35 miles from my house. Is the fourth time in the last 5 years there broken is my transmission . And I have a transmission oil cooler. I bring my Vette today to a dealer he only make transmissions. I tell him my problem and he say I make your transmission better. The shifting was a little harsh and you could feel & hear the car shifting. I switched over to royal purple ATF. I couldn't nor feel the car shifting after that. I would recommend was you break-in your new tranny that you use a synthetic ATF. FranksVette 05-18-2008, 12:24 PM I have my baby back.Oh man the Vette is faster than before. The tranny-man tell me there was a piece from a truck in the tranny. That's I was before not so fast.I have jet higher rpm.
