Sorry to hear about your transmission.
At least you know it can be fixed!!
It has to be an awesome feeling to get on the AUTOBAHN and let the car show it's potential.
Wish I was there!!

Sorry to hear that Frank. Is their a corvette dealer in your area to fix it? Is it an automatic or 6-speed?

Honestly I would buy a stronger / rebuilt transmission State side and have it imported by a performance transmission shop. Maybe consider a built 700R4.

Also, you are running synthetic ATF fluid right?

:iagree: After the number of tranny's you have gone through I would be looking at some upgrades. Good luck buddy.

Sorry is not the synthetic oil,is only ATF oil.The dealer tell me my transmission don't need synthetic oil.
I bring my Vette today to a dealer he only make transmissions.
I tell him my problem and he say I make your transmission better.
After is good for race.:burnout: :drool5:

I had a 1998 camaro with a 4L60. The shifting was a little harsh and you could feel & hear the car shifting.

I switched over to royal purple ATF. I couldn't nor feel the car shifting after that. I would recommend was you break-in your new tranny that you use a synthetic ATF.

I have my baby back.Oh man the Vette is faster than before.
The tranny-man tell me there was a piece from a truck in the tranny.
That's I was before not so fast.I have jet higher rpm.

Next saturday I go with a american friend to Bitburg for Quartermile
race.He drive a 2000 Trans Am with some modification.
