my car heats up dramatically after a long ride, I installed another fan but nothing happened .The problem is that the inter cooler is blocking the air form going through to the radiator . even the oil temperature is high. is there any oil coolers, fan, electric water pump or an after market radiators that help to maintain engine temperature.

Why not pull air out of the engine compartment? Fan some inlet so it pushes into the engine bay an pushes the heat out down to the road. :thud:

Forced induction should not = heat, which kit do you have?

C6? I have had a few C6's come in here for over heating fixes with that kit. One of the things we made sure would not happen with our kit. One thing to try is to space the intercooler away from the rad as much as possible, and direct the air dam so it brings the air more towards the radiator.
good luck with it.

First day on this forum, however, I've been on Corvette Forum for a few years. There is an intercooler relocation mod, lovingly called "The Big Bollas" mod, that is detailed there. It moves the bottom of the IC forward, allowing air to reach the radiator from the bottom if the car. Dropped my coolant temps 30 degrees with a Saturday afternoon work session. Search "Big Bollas Mod" on CF for details. Good luck.

That looks like a mean SC set up you have there!! I am installing the STS TT in our black Vette that has a 403 in it. Should be fun!

I can't wait to hear how the STS kit handles the heat. They claim that is one of the bennefits of their system. Along with big HP of course. It will be interesting to see if they really can deliver both?
