i have new 1.5 and new 1.6 roller rockers for my carbureted C4. Is there an advantage to mixing 1.6 intake and 1.5 exhaust with a mild comp cams hydraulic cam? Thanks......... Okay- I figured it out by reading (imagine that). It seems that 1.5 exhaust and 1.6 intake adds a little horsepower without sacrificing torque! I'll try it and see.

And the nice thing is that you can swap them and see what having them reversed will do! :D

I read that variable cam timing and I would reverse the valve movement to the :burnout: side of the intake. Where the Miller theory or his stroke on the intake being later so the valve is spinning the crank on the compression stroke but the valve is still open up to the last nanosecond of closing.
Where I want to have that wrist pin and crank pin in that axis letting that motion which is in motion on it's own without the compression resistance about to slow it (the crank throw) down.
Being my take on the intake will still fill no matter what speed you close that valve; theory being the cylinder is going to be in the N/A of the 14.7 psi naturally closed on that number.
Therefore, I have the :burnout: waiting for you on the opposite end of the close line, I'll be hanging you with if we line up and :driving: is that you and I are gonna have a :nopity: contest why I have to ear you in my ear about your rocker arm is me leaning on mine; trying to stay awake.
 Your tune to my tune... Lettuce tune 'em up N/A.

Unless you are running timed events you will not notice a real difference in performance ( idle and stall speed for a/t might be a noticeable change you dont like) no matter how you set them up on a street car - The CompCams tech guy will tell you what is best for your grind/desired expectations during business hours at the 1-800 #
