Anybody have a 4-speed setup they want to trade for an TH350 auto tranny, 2800 stall speed converter, B+M shift kit(plus cash)? Looking for entire setup - pedals, etc 1976 350

That's a pretty wide open request, many people see the manual trans as the preferred option, basically a stick is far more fun, and fun is what it's about. You might want to add something about "plus cash" in that trade offer. I'm presently converting my 82 base coupe from a 700r4 to a T5 World Class five speed. I can probably get $300 to $400 if I sell the automatic outright. However the T5 costs more. Then add the cost of the bell housing, clutch, pressure plate, TO bearing, clutch linkage (hydraulic or mechanical) in addition to the pedals. The trade has cost me $1,000 plus and I'm not finished yet. Unless you get very lucky, it will probably take a few bucks to get a nibble on your offer.

I have a 1979 and might be interested. Who built your trans, and is it a TH350? The trans and related parts are stillin my car. Contact me JAY
