How many people are running a DTE brace on their C5? Good buy?

How is the installation process? Is this something that can be done with jack and jack stands in garage? Or do I need to bring the car to a shop to have installed?

It is definitely not a fun install and I am not sure that it can be done without lowering the rear. I installed one on Spdkilz's Z06 while we were installing the clutch and even with the whole trans/rear end dropped out it still wasn't fun!

Was it a good product to use? I mean is it worth it to put one on? Thanks.

I would recommend it if you are running any kind of Drag radial or slick! I have seen quite a few rear ends go boom on these Vettes and anything you can do to help make them stronger is a good idea. They are a little pricey but worth saving your rear!

As said above, they are a PITA but they do work. Setup on them is rather important as well or you can induce stress into the rear end.
