Hello everyone!
I am new to the site. Just registered because I wanted to share some photos of the new ZR-1.

Received a call from Len Lyall Chevrolet last Friday. There was a ZR-1 test vehicle in their shop for new O2 sensors.

Talked to the test drivers briefly and they indicated they drove from Bowling Green to Arizona and then up to Colorado. From Colorado they will head back to the plant.

They are going to run in the hills (Mountains to most) and get the final calibration on the vehicle.

Also, there was a Cadillac CTS along for the testing. Apparently the CTS has the same engine as the ZR-1 and will be marketed this summer. No pix since I was focused on the ZR-1.

I'll see and ride in the new CTS-V at Summit Point raceway in a few weeks. Slightly detuned version of the ZR-1 engine with different intercooler and ONLY 550HP. I'll try to give you guys some poop when I'm back from Summit Point.

Yes, I did request a test drive, but the guys didn't allow anyone but themselves to pilot the ZR-1.

Yeah, the ZR1 uses the Eaton TVS 2300 series and the CTS-V uses the Eaton TVS 1900 series supercharger.

I was surprised to heat the CTS-V uses cast pistons. Is the ZR-1 doing the same or does it have forged pistions? Imagine a lot of new V owners will be upgrading (if possible) to the ZR-1 supercharger.
