New member who just bought a 1985 project car. My second Vette, the first was a new 1975. This one is rough, but happy to have and to recycle it. The interior and body are all projects that I am capable of doing and enjoying. It had been running wonderfully mechanically. But, now it will run great for about a 1/4 mile, then it chokes, stalls, and acts like it is starved for gas. Have to basically stop, feather the gas pedal lightly, and you have to literally nurse it home. I hope that is enough info to get some ideas where to start looking for the problem. Thanks

One area would be fuel pump, check fuel pump pressure.
