I want to check the resistance in my fuel injectors and I noticed the locking wire on the injector , I didnt want to go any farther and risk breaking something, can someone tell me how it comes off :banghead: Thanks

Is this for the C6? If so, there should just be a clip that you can get off with a screw driver, if that is what you are talking about?!

That wire is nothing more than a lock to hold the wire plug onto the injector. You can remove them by taking a fine tipped(1/4 inch wide) common screwdriver and pry up under the wire to release its locking grip on the plug. With this done, you should be able to pull the electrical plug off of the injector. Be very careful not to loose the wire clip. It might be worth your while to put a small piece of tape over the wire so that it doesn't shoot off of the plug while prying it up. I've done this a few times and haven't lost any of the clips yet.

I figured out that if you push the clip in, it releases the connector , thanks for everyone that responded
