HI All:
OK, it's a bit eye opening at the gas station now. At what price point of fuel do you start looking at a high gas mileage car (hybrid, small 4-cylinder, small diesel, etc.) to drive daily?

I would never buy one of those little gas sippers. My C3 when driven right will get right at 20 and my 3/4 ton Chevy Duramax runs anywhere from 28 to 32.

Europe now has ~$8.00 gas! Got that in an email from a friend in Spain.
I'm leaning towards fuel efficiency right now.

The prices are bad now and I can't see the prices ever going down ( ONLY UP!!). I only drive the Vette ocassionally which gets fairly good mileage if you stay out of the pedal. As far as my wifes daily driver?? I'm really considering a car that gets good mileage ( AMERICAN UNION MADE!!!) Thankfully, my company work van has the gas provided by the company!!!! 7MPG!!!!! YIKES!!!!!

The only gas sipper I need is my Yamaha rice rocket.
