Yeah that's pretty normal sitting at a light or something;

The low speed cooling fan is commanded on when the coolant temperature reaches 226°F. It is turned off if the coolant temperature lowers to 219°F. The high speed cooling fan is commanded on when the coolant temperature reaches 235°F. It is turned off if the coolant temperature lowers to 108°C (226°F). When the A/C is on and the coolant temperature reaches 185°F, the low speed cooling fan will be turned on at vehicle speeds less than 35 mph.

I have a 160 degree TStat and have the fans reprogrammed, I have yet to see 180 degrees.

Thanks for your help, after changing to 160 degree tstat, where can I have the fans reprogrammed ? (at dealer or Corvette special shop).
I also have the same window leaking problem on the driver side, can you email the docs, my email address is xelua46@gmail.com.
Thanks again.

If you have an automatic and don't plan on any other mods you can get a good quality handheld programmer that will not only readjust your fan settings but firm up your shifts and other stuff...

Hopefully Mike will step in here and provide you with a more intelligent explanation to the benifits of a handheld...

You're lucky. I'm in Fargo, ND, and it is snowing here.... AGAIN. Winter is never going to end. Please, someone come rescue me from this hell-hole. I'll do anything!

Try putting a bottle of the coolant additive into your coolant system. Its called "Wet" "Stay Wet" or something like that?

160 stat should do the trick!
