Hey have any of you guys used a toms diff for your c3.How about dragvette 6 link suspension,if so how much was everything.I have everything else but keep blowing half shafts u joints gears and so on.I replace the halfshafts with 3inch ones and solid u joints but it doesnt seem to matter when i put the slicks on.I only race the car maybe 1 time a year, but i want it ready if i get the itch. And nothing better than driving to the track and drivinng back-not haveing to call your freind to bring the trailer. My best so far is low tens at 136 just tapping the first stage of n20,havent hit the second stage yet-to scared a half shaft will come fying thru my baby.780hp pump gas, with 2 stage plate system.I no there is more in her but i hate blowing stuff all over the control tower when i launch it.:burnout:

Hey there, fellow strip racer here: I am curious if you have tried the heat treated forged stub axles. I twisted one off on my first run after building my 425 hp/450 lb torque 383 with a Tremec TKO600 5 spd manual. I just replaced both sides with these heat treated ones ($285 each side) and so far no breaks. I am using the stock cast iron diff. with new 3:73's. My best run so far is 12.88/107mph 1/4 mile with no nitrous ( I am getting a 250 fogger kit for the back end). Sounds like yours is a little more radical than mine, but any input would be great- I so afraid to run hard out of the gate that I will break it again. Thanks- DDBS

Thanks, I 've put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears (of frustration) into her. I know it doesn't look it, but she needs paint as paint chips and stress cracks are showing ever so slightly. I'm repainting first of the year (got a good paint guy). I think I'm keeping the color the same. thanks Chappy, I've read some of your threads and sounds like you know your stuff. :patriot:
