That's just GM's way of reminding us we're driving LS1's. Sadly it's a common problem, but some people have cut the noise down with different motor oils. Amsoil European 5w-40 have proven to help so you can try that next oil change. Some people also say the german castrol has helped as well but that oil seems to be tough to find. Otherwise if the car is running well and the noise doesn't get worse it's really just an annoyance.
