I had a new head unit installed in my '92 - looked great in the store, and it works great, but..... it has an almost mirror finish (real shiny) and everything else inside is flat black.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I could dull it down some - as I said it sounds great.

A pic would help, but maybe some fine steel wool would take the shine off.
