Hide Food. Made for Jaguars but best leather "food" there is by far. Used it on 3 of my Jags and now on my C5.

Most Jag dealers have it in their parts shop. You can also find it on line. I recently ran out and went to the usual Autozones, etc. where they "used" to carry it but not any longer. Only the junk stuff. I know you can get it on line if you do a web search. Not cheap, but nothing better.

Its all GM leather, if you thin it down enough you can get a whole interior for a Suburban after so many square feet of crap leather. WAY TO GO GENRAL MOTORS!

FWIW I've been using the McGuires Leather cleaner/Conditioner with seeming good results BUT I have nothing to compare it to. It does smell good though!

Smell good?? Naw, it's not dolled up with chemicals, it's the real deal. It's been reported that it does contain actual animal oils which if the container is out of date or has gotten hot, then it really doesn't "smell good". What does it smell like...leather. Real leather.

oopps....Hide Care, that's the name on the container. Made by Connolly. (I'm 99% sure it used to be called "Hide Food". I'd always thought it was Hide Food anyway.) Comes in a small plastic jar with a green lid. You'll love the stuff.

Be careful buying Hide Food off e-bay. If it has gone out of date or has been stored in heat, it will go bad. This stuff is made out of real animal oils and will get pretty smelly if it's old or gone bad. But if it's "fresh" you'll love it. That's why I'll only by it via the Jaguar dealers or a reputable online shop.
