Check it out!

I just bought one and I got it fast! Very high quality and the cheapest I found at any vendor!

Hope this helps save you guys some cash! Seems like these guys supply all the other corvette vendors who charge us double. No Corvette tax here.

I emailed the manufacturer to see what the deal was and they said once they run out, they won't be making anymore, so I thought I would let you guys know to jump on it before they run out.

PM me if you have any questions about the one I received from them.

Damn, that is a great deal! You say the quality is good?

hammatime,

I received mine right before I posted. I wanted to wait until I received the item before I posted on the forum. The plate came ultra-fast. They shipped it very quickly and the quality is better than the one I purchased from another vendor a couple years ago.

High quality like this plate usually comes with a huge Corvette Tax, but this one didn't. You can't touch the pricing of either the 1/4 or 3/8. Trust me, I checked EVERYWHERE!

I wanted to give you guys a heads up to save you some cash, because as this manufacturer stated, once they run out, they are not going to make anymore and they will be gone for good.

Be careful when you buy coated tunnel plates from ebay. I bought one and had it installed and it helped in stiffening the chassis, but when I needed to take it off, the coating where the bolts were was no longer. I had been merely painted with some knid of paint. Call Hannah at LAPD (818) 998-DYNO and tell her I told you to call and she'll give you a deal.

Spiral04,

The one I got has not been painted. It is ceramic coated. Anyone can tell the difference. It must have been a different ebay manufacturer.

http://www.smokinvette.com/corvetteforum/showthread.php?t=5117 Here's another thread where ebay has sold a painted tunnel plate. They claim it to be ceramic coated, but it's not. It's too bad we have to deal with crooks lying about their products sold over the net. Karma catches up with you though!

I don't know, but I checked mine a few times after I received it and it is ceramic coated, not painted. Maybe this vendor used to paint them or maybe it is another ebay vendor. The post you referenced just said it was painted. He didn't say he purchased it and found it to be painted. I hate to play semantics here, but the one I received was ceramic coated. Sorry dude.
