This error has been popping up for a little while and annoys me. The dealer said the message is showing because in November I changed the alternator?? Doesn't make sense??

My old alternator was bad, so I replaced it with a new one. So why would this error start "charge system"?

Wonder if something is unplugged or if they gave you the wrong one for the application. The PCM does monitor the battery/alternator voltage.

The computer should re-learn itself when you put in the new alt. I don't see why it would continue to show that something is wrong?:banghead:
