What's the best alloy cleaner to use to clean my suspension parts on my '87?
I'm looking for something I can spay on and hose off?
Thanks for the help

I think you can just use any degreaser from the auto store. That should do the job for you!

If your just cleaning those kind of parts I always used Simple Green.

I second the Simple Green, works great and isn' t too harsh if it gets on painted parts, though you should try to avoid this.

most of the time when I am getting oils and greese off I use carborater cleaner. It works well spray it on and everything just falls off. If there is anythingleft a simple hose will do the trick. I always clean with it after an oil change or any other work I need to do on all my vehicles.

Be careful what you use when
cleaning suspension parts.
Some citrus based products
can be harmful and destroy
rubber, neoprene or urethane bushings
and boots!! This can end up
being an expensive fix after
a simple cleaning!!!!!!!!:ack2:
