How much RWHP can a stock 2003 C5 drivetrain take? I just picked up my first Vette and looking to get 450 RWHP and want to see what should be replaced before I break it? Thanks

It all depends on if you run stickies on the car and drag race it. If you only run street tires, you may never have a problem with the stock driveline as traction will most likely be the weak link. If you start putting stickies on there, that is a different story altogether.

A4 or MN6??? 450 rwhp should be good w/ a MN6 depends on what tires you use, like what was allready said.

I have more rwhp and my 97 and seams to be working out.

Like others have suggested, if you aren't regularly drag racing it you should be fine. Al has an 01 Z06 NA with 460 RWHP and 415 RWTQ that is pretty much stock behind the clutch and the 3.73 gears.
