:doh: well it came up today and left me stranded, I got it to a close repair shop, I hope they can get it going soon, any way can it be disabled from the dealer or a tuner ?? I got the car almost 3 months ago ( 99 C5 HT ) any advice is always helpful.... Thanks:wheelchair:

This can be a lot of things such as a weak battery. A CLB may be in your future. It can't be tuned out.

Some guys are removing the lock plate, installing the K harness and having the car tuned for the fuel cutoff from 1.5 to 255.

I ordered it from Thunderracing for $49.95. It's going in this weekend. My vette is not locking, but I am tired of the service steering column lock message. I don't understand how GM can ignore this problem.:mad5: They should fix their mistakes.
