Lights go up just fine, its on the way down the passenger side will stick sometimes? You either have to turn the switch on and off a couple times or push it down?

Any suggestions on a fix? Its a 1986 C4.

thanks so much!

Head light relay probably bad. NEVER force the head lights up or down.

Agree with Sportscarsunlimited, don't force up or down. Could be hitting something on the way down. Clearance with the hood closed is very tight. Some things to check: All hoses and wires in this area need to be in their respective clips and brackets. Raise hood and operate lights, does it move freely now? Also, check linkage for binding, lube moving joints with spray lithium grease. Most vette vendors sell a kit with 3 nylon bushings that need to be replaced in the gear housing of the headlight motor. Comes with complete instructions. Takes about an hour to do. Or you may have a damaged gear which is also availible through vendors. There is no shortage of parts for these lights, just finding which ones you need so you don't break the bank fixing them is the tricky part.
