Just got an "06" Z06. Researching new exhaust at the moment. What a "beast"...

Why change the exhuast? I have a 07 z06 love the stock exhuast. quite at idle and when they open up it sounds great. I have seen specs on after market exhuast and you only get about a 5% gain in flow. The stock is great. I am looking at a supercharge set up right now. Not sure if I will do it as it kills the warrantty. 20 hours to pull it out if something goes wrong.
Any way have fun I love mine. I have always driven porsche so this vette stuff is new to me. I was driving an 01 turbo before I got the vette. 2 different beast for sure. Late Brad

TRADER1...after reading many articles and researching exhaust mod performance, I think I'll leave my system stock for the time being. It sounds good the way it is and you are correct that without going full bore with engine mods the performance increase with exhaust is only minimal.
