My maggie came in last week and I have gotten quotes on installing this thing. The best so far is $2000 installed? Pretty good deal or should I wait for better price? I'm excited to get this installed and go driving!

One thing I didn't look into, how is the Maggie going to effect my gas mileage? With gas getting ready to go over $4.00 here???

One thing I didn't look into, how is the Maggie going to effect my gas mileage? With gas getting ready to go over $4.00 here???$2,000 is what I paid for my install. There's quite a bit involved, ie: dropping the front suspension carriage to pin the crank, new fuel pump, installing the intercooler pump and radiator, etc. I considered it to be a fair price and worth every penny.

As far as gas mileage goes, If you keep it out of boost, (which takes a lot of self control, btw) It doesn't do too bad. I averaged 27.4 MPG going from Richmond, VA. to Tampa FL. for the Ultimate Corvette Party last November. And that included some in-town driving. I reset the mileage before I left and checked it when I got home, so that was for the whole trip.

Obviously, the more you have your foot in it, the more gas it will consume, so forget about the first few tankfulls. It will feel like such a different car that you won't be able to help but feel the power when ever you have the chance. :burnout:

Fortunately, that urge to set world speed records will eventually go away with time (unless there's a Mustang ******* you  )

Buddy of mine installed one and I think he paid almost $2400 so if you getting for $2000 thats a good deal.

The car goes in for the new hood to get painted next week. So in about 2 weeks my red devil will be ready for the streets again!
