I believe my gear ratio is 3.42, does anyone know what difference I would see by putting 3.73 or 3.90's in my manual transmission '01? Thanks

I totally agree. Changing gears has to be one of the best bang for the buck out there. How many times have we done a Mod then not really notice the differance? Your like WTF with a gear change your more like :) :) !

Automatics come stock with 2.73. The optional performance package is 3.15. But the Stick Shift and Z06 Vettes come with 3.42 gear sets.

Is there really that big of difference? Would this be like putting a higher stall converter in the car?

These are the guys to talk to. Generally they take a trade and sent you the new gearing you want in a rear diff.
