Those of you who are recording vids in your Vettes what kind of camera set up are you using? Been watching you tube vids this morning and getting motivated! :burnout:

I was just reading about that chase cam and also people just using your digital cameras.

Those of you who are recording vids in your Vettes what kind of camera set up are you using? Been watching you tube vids this morning and getting motivated! :burnout:
The chase cam is a nice set up, but a little spendy. If you're looking to use a standard camcorder like most of us you need. . . .

A mini dv camera (dvds, hard drives, and the rest don't work)
Digital Stabilization (Optical stabilization doesn't work)
A good mount

Its nice to have . . . . .

A .70 wide angle lense (better video coverage)
The option of using an external microphone (no wind noise)
A remote control (So you can turn the thing on when your strapped)
