Am I able to hook up my ipod to the factory C5 radio without losing my CD changer?

I believe you do lose the changer.

yep, you can only have one or the other... but then again, why use a 12 disc changer when you have an Ipod?

If you have a C5 with a cassette deck and this is what I use for my I Pod. I use this TuneFlex with a wired Cassette adapter and the sound is static free and twice the sound of any FM receiver JUNK!!! I plug it into the accessory power plug inside the center console and its right there for easy access It's made by Griffin Technology http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/tuneflexaux http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/directdeck

PS:: this is a pict from my old 98 C5
