I was just reading up on some wheels that had this coating on them. Pretty cool stuff, hose off virtually any dirt, grim, grease off wheels!

Has anyone gotten their existing wheels dipped in Teflon? Does anyone know anyone that does this?

Thanks

I was looking at a set of American Racing Rims for my truck with teflon but I really like my brushed aluminum and black painted rims to much. Sweet concept though becase in dirt and mud racing it saves gas and wear on axles from the added weight of crap building up on them

I don't really see the benefits of having it done to a Vettes wheels, do you plan on going off road with your car?

It would seem to really help with brake dust on my Z06 wheels. This thing makes more dust than any other car I have ever had. Being a daily driver makes them load even quicker.

That would be nice to just be able to simply spray all the dust right off the wheels and not have to do much scrubbing, or is it that easy?

Does anyone have these wheels? Is it that easy spray and all the brake dust comes off with ease?

American racing is the only company that I could find with those wheels and they are for trucks?
