What does it mean when you have a dead spot when you give it gas just started to happen 4inch high rise with a holly 650 any ideas would help out alot7967

accelerator pump is out of adjustment or not pumping properly. the mechanism is on front driver side of carb...make sure there is no slack in the spring bolt to arm, and that it pumps when you just start to move throttle..or the vacuum advance is not working
