You need to buy a set of replica Z06 wheels that are the same width and offset as your standard wheels. If you use real Z06 wheels, the width and offset will be different, resulting in your tires sticking out beyond the sides of your fenders. This will not look good and would also result in slinging dirt up along the sides of your fenders.

Aren't there fender flares that can be used to extend the rear quarter panels so that Z06 size wheels can be used?

Bob, at House of Wheels hooked me up with the new Z06 spyder-style wheels in my base C6 sizes in gloss black for $879 total, including shipping.

Another $40 got me black lugs from Bob. I will get the tires in five weeks, have my height adjusters turned outboard and that plus the new, higher aspect ratio tires will raise my car at least an inch and then I will drive it in the winter except for heavy snow days.

You can put Z06 panels on the car.

Bob's a good guy, I've spoken to him about a set of wheels for mine. He spent nearly half hour with me on the phone answering questions.

LOL, I can't say that I've ever heard of anyone lifting their car before. Good Luck.
