Headers are cooking and I've read some other posts about these things. One question I still have do you need to remove the headers to install these?

No you do not have to remove the headers, just from the headers to the catback and you will be able to do the install.

(Non technical answer) In the vert on a hot day stuck in traffic before the tunnel plate it was almost unbearable, with the plate it's just another hot day stuck in traffic. (1/4" ceramic coated plate)

LOL, good answer! I am sure that especially in a vert you might not feel the difference that great until maybe at night when you put the top up!
