I'm really hoping that the guy in the Charger just didn't know how to drive very well. Not that I'm a Dodge fan (Chevy guy here), but after seeing the commercials and hearing all the hype about how badass they were, I'd hoped for more of a "race".
I was pulling out of "Best Buy" onto O.B.T. (six lanes with a median) when in my mirror I see a new shiny red Charger staying within the flow and speed of the other cars behind me. He must have spotted me because I saw him starting to weave in and out of the cars between us trying to get along side me.
So I waited for him to pull up along side of me doing about 45mph. I then dropped it down into 3rd and punched it. I could tell that he was *trying* to keep up with me, but he just kept getting smaller in the rear mirror. As I reached my turnoff, he was still trying to catch me.
All I kept thinking was "I thought those were fast" and "I wonder how badly I would have smoked him if I had turned off my air conditioner for the race?":wtf:
