I really like fender flares with the wheels. Gives the car a mean look to it.

Union, do you have a part number for the iPod connector?

I do have a 2005 C6 that is currently for sale! I need to sell some stuff since I am currently sitting on 2 houses and 2 Vettes! :smack: One Vette per garage....right?

The car is currently at Straightline Performance having the boost and fuel pressure gauges installed on the pillar. I am also having them check the tune and put it on the dyno for me so that I have my own dyno sheet. The car seems to be running at 6psi boost. My next question is whether I am going to just have the bottom of the rear fascia painted black or if I want to switch to the tiger shark rear bumper. I have always really like the tiger shark and the Corsa Exhaust that I won from smokinvette is the Tiger Shark exhaust so I am itching to use it, but I really like the Caravaggio rear spoiler that is already on the car! Your thoughts?

Thats a real good idea about geting a dino and looking over the tune.

The Vette looks sweet now, It will look better painted black, even better w/ the TS tail. If it was me Id just paint what I had. How far do you want to go?

[That is SWEET!!!!!!!! How is the wide body kit mounted? is it a complete rear quartwer panel change to get that look?

Yeah they just swap out the rear fenders! They are fairly reasonably priced and I am surprised that more people have not done these yet. I think I have seen way more people swap the fenders on their C6 than on a C5.

First off, great looking ride. You really did things right. Love the wheels. Additionally, your getting a good level of power from your engine set up at a moderate level of boost.

I might hold off messing with/upping the boost on your set up. You currently have a ton of power and you ability to hook up with more hp will be an issue, particularly with narrow sidewall tires in the rear.

Also, the P1 blower is great, but may give you issues at higher boost levels. If you want to go the real crazy route, your looking at (in additional to forged bot) an 8 rib set up (D1Sc head unit or F1A), an additional fuel system, meth injection and perhaps new rad/sep oil coolers. Not cheap.

I would consider keeping your car "as is". Your vette is plenty fast!!!

Thanks man, but I can't take credit for doing the car since I bought it like this. I completely agree about getting some traction and not adding any more power...for now. I just got the car back and the dyno results on the Mustang Dyno showed 495rwhp and 415 rwtq. I guess the car is getting some knock and pulling about 7degrees of timing. I am going to have them redo the tune to get rid of the knock. I don't intend to build a bottom end or up the boost this year. But, I think that may be a project for next year. For this year, I just want to make sure it is all dialed in right and add my own personal touches to the appearance.

Someone else I know had an 02 Z06 with making 720rwhp and he ran around on ET drags and it was just too much. Ended up detuning the car to 550rwhp. All joking aside, you can find yourself in a lot of trouble trying to push that car much harder than where its at currectly. They arent forgiving. And you better be able to follow through with them when they get squirrely.

Yeah, my 2001 Z06 had 501 rwhp and 528 rwtq(Nitrous) so I am no stranger to a lot of horsepower! The problem is that I have gotten used to being in the 500 range so it doesn't feel all that fast anymore! Especially, when almost every member of ShockerRacing is running 11's and is in the 500 hp range. It is that constant competition to be the fastest!

Do you have a CD changer? Or at leat the cable that went to it. If so its the easyest way to hook it up. If not you need to plug into the back side of the head init.

Give me a call ill give you all you need to know about it.
