Hello everyone,
I recently saw in a C5 forum, some coil covers painted the same color as the car itself, and they looked shiny. Could some one tell me how to prepare the coil covers prior to painting so that they do not have the rough looking finish.
thanks in advance

I have not done this myself, but I can only imagine you will need to remove the coil and sand the heck out of it, prime it then shoot it with the paint. I have not seen this before, this should turn out pretty good. Take some photos when you are done please.

:iagree: That should work, you might want to spray some extra clear coat on it also.
