When I bot my C5 a couple years ago, the "clear" roof was a POS. One of the first things I bot was a new roof. Found one on e-bay and plunked down $600.

So, I've got this spare and was trying to decide what to do with it. One hot day I decided it would be nice to have a solid roof.

So, $75 for new rubber and $10 for a can of spray paint I sanded and painted the old panel creating a respectable solid color roof. Not perfect but definitely servicable.

Then a friend came up with an idea, and I decided WTF, I'll give it a try. Here's the result:

He will actually make to order. I elected NO border and "Corvette Racing". The color I choice was "Light Charcoal". A little brighter that I wanted, but.......

Cool idea. There is typically nothing structurally wrong with these things so a little creativity is a good thing. Can't ruin it..

I'll do some shortly. The car has been in the garage all weekend. Changed out all the bushings to poly's, installed new shocks. Going to adjust it all tonight.
