How many drive with traction control off? I personally do, and got some crap for this. Was told I don't let the computer do what it was intended to do. Personally I like to have more control over the car.

I usually always drive in Comp mode. Let's you spin the rear wheels but won't let you get sideways...

I agree that with active handling and TC disabled, you have the most control of the car. Personally, I drive in Competitive mode as I sometimes forget when the tires are cold and don't mind a little fail safe.

Like most everyone eles I only take it off when I am fooling around! Otherwise it stays on all the time. Keeps me out of trouble for the most part.

For street driving I strongly recommend you keep it on. It might save you in an emergency situation.

For road racing, most folks who are just learning start with it on and move to comp mode after 2-3 track days.

For more experienced track drivers, run with it off all the time (on track). Traction control will cause severe under-steer when the car is pushed hard
